ROALD DAHL

Roald Dahl was a British  writer, poet, fighter pilot and screenwriter. 
He was born in 1916, Wales and died in 1990 at the age of seventy- four.

His books, which are read by children the world over, are:

• James and the Giant Peach

• The Twits 

Students from form 6 are going to read stories of the book 

THE TWITS (a twit means a stupid person).

The Twits is a extremely nasty couple who live in a brick house without windows. They live together  with a monkey family called the Muggle- Wumps who they treat badly. Mr and Mrs Twit play nasty tricks on each other mostly every day ......

CONGRATULATIONS!

Our students have been successful this year in the English competitions of Tartu County.

• Helen got the 1st place and Taimar got 6th place at Word Art Contest held in Luunja Secondary School (among 15contestants).  
• Rebekka, Marta and Robin T  got the 1st place in the English quiz in Lähte Gymnasium  (among 14 schools).
