Roald Dahl was a British writer, poet, fighter pilot and screenwriter.
He was born in 1916, Wales and died in 1990 at the age of seventy- four.
His books, which are read by children the world over, are:

THE TWITS (a twit means a stupid person).
The Twits is a extremely nasty couple who live in a brick house without windows. They live together with a monkey family called the Muggle- Wumps who they treat badly. Mr and Mrs Twit play nasty tricks on each other mostly every day ......Listen to part 1.
