LETTER FROM LONDON

In today`s English lesson the sixth-formers wrote a letter. They had to pretend that they are in London and send a letter to their friend writing about famous sights in London.

The most famous sights they wrote about were:

Buckingham Palace

St Paul`s Cathedral

Tower of London

  1. Dear friend, 6 April

I´m in London now. I´ve seen many sights till now. I´ve visited Tower of London and St Paul´s Cathredal. I think Tower of London is the most beautiful sight I have ever seen. It used to be a prison but now it´s just a museum. I saw the ravens too. They are really big birds.
I have also seen black taxis, double deckers and red letterboxes in streets of London
The streets are very noisy and busy. In London there are many foreign tourists .
The weather has been sunny but a bit rainy too.
Tomorrow I´m going to Buckingham Palace. I´ll bring you some souvenirs too.
    All The best, Ranor

    Dear Piia,
I’m in London now. Till now everything’s been interesting. The weather has been sunny but foggy. I have seen a lot of exciting places.
I’ve seen theTower Of London. It’s more than 900 years old. There live 43 families. I saw the ravens. They are so big birds. But I wasn`t afraid of them.
In London there are a lot of tourists.
Tomorrow I’m going to visit the Bear Pub. I have heard that there is really good food.
I hope you are OK and I’ll bring you some nice souvenirs.
    Best wishes,
    Liis-Mirjam
