THE END OF THE SCHOOLYEAR

Summer is coming soon and it`s time to make summer plans. Summer is the season of long days and hot weather. Our students get a holiday during the summer months. This is a good time to go swimming, fishing or camping, have a picnic or just hang around with friends.

Our graduates Märt, Kelli, Silver and Talmo have made their plans for the summer.

"I`m going to my granny`s. Maybe, I`m going to work. I`m going swimming with my friends."
Kelli
"In summer, I`m going to the Dance Festival in Tallinn. I`m also going to Finland with my classmates. We`re  going to visit Fazer. I`m going to visit my uncle in Pärnu and stay there for some days. In summer, I`m going to the work camp in Elva. I think, I`m going to visit my friends, too."
Märt
"First, I`m going to have a rest for a week. Then I`m going to visit my grandparents or friends. I`m going on a trip to Ahvenamaa, it`s a small island near Sweden. I like Sweden and Finland very much. I`m going to my relatives` because they have birthday parties. When holiday ends, I`m going to buy some stuff for school. And I`m going to study more English."
Silver

"My favourite season is summer. This summer I`m going to do a lot of sport. I`m going swimming, camping and gardening. I think I`m going to do a lot of activities."
Talmo

Summer is a good time for animals, especially insects. Some of insects such as butterflies

and fireflies look pretty in the gardens. Unfortunately, others, such as mosquitoes make a tasty treat out of people.

Fireflies

by Evaleen Stein

Look! Look down in the garden how

The firefly lights are flitting now!

A million tiny sparks I know

Flash through the pinks and golden-glow,

And I am very sure that all

Have come to light a fairy ball,

And if I could stay up I'd see

How gay the fairy folks can be!

Watch the video and sing along!

HAVE A NICE SUMMER!
