The Eurovision Song Contest is over.
Norway won THIS YEAR with a song "Fairytale"(muinasjutt) that means the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 will be held in Norway.
Our beautiful and talented girls came sixth. CONGRATULATIONS!!!

The sixth-formers studied English outside!!!
On Wednesday, 13 May we were outside again.
Students were divided into two groups; following the map they had to search (otsima)and solve(lahendama) 8 different tasks.
Especially I`d like to thank Kerli Retter and Mariliis for being so enthusiastic and preparing interesting tasks for their classmates.

Topic „Celebrity(Kuulsus)“ in form 6.
We talked about celebrities and tried to define this word.
Who is celebrity?
Celebrity is a person who
..... is famous and well-known;
......is very rich and lives in a huge villa;
......has a lot of cars;
......we can see in magazines and newspapers;
......we can watch on TV.
Celebrity can be a singer, actor/actress, model, musician, athlete, politician ....
Every student made a slide show in Powerpoint about his/her favourite celebrity and finally had to present it in front of their classmates.

ENGLISH LESSON IN THE SCHOOLYARD.
On Monday the fifth-formers had a lesson outside. We talked about the weather, learned weather symbols, cardinal points (ilmakaared) and read the weather forecast (ilmateade) about the UK.
The weather was sunny and quite warm, so we enjoyed being in the fresh air very much.
In the afternoon we had a class party. Girls made fruit salad and boys grilled sausages. We played and had a lot of fun together
